Family Business: Small Contractor Safety

There are a lot of contractors in my family. Most of them talk about safety, but they complain about the high cost of safety equipment. Face it, most of them haven't even gone shopping. That is why I went online and shopped for them. Next time they started complaining I asked them about things like a truck tonneau cover. That silenced them for a few minutes.

Of course, it wasn't that hard. I found a site called BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com. Once they found that out, they were not as impressed with me. Actually, it kind of took the wind out of my sales. The fact is, men can be taught to shop online. Especially, if the website is easy to use.

Now, I would like to say they went online and spent their time looking for safety equipment for their trucks and work vans. Instead, they spent their time entering the vehicle make and model for SUVs and looked at all the exterior and interior accessories. They spent much more time looking at chrome and tool boxes than they looked at contractor or towing equipment. And, of course, they had to talk about the tips for using the equipment as if they had been using that piece of equipment for ten years. Ah well, life goes on.
