My friend Sharon just moved from England to Barbados. My friend Marnie is moving 850 miles. I have no idea how they survived. I only moved 1 hour and it took me months to survive.
Of course, Sharon had to use a service like Moving.bz. They handled storage for her furniture and car, until it could be loaded on the ship. They also helped her find a local mover who also packed their clothing.
I was a DYI mover. I didn’t intend on being one, but our movers just up and quit because they didn’t want to carry the furniture down the back stairs to the ground level. We were so distraught. If it wasn’t for two young men who showed up at 2 am and traded us an hours help for a street hockey ball, I don’t think we would have ever finished.
