How to Avoid Publishing Scams and Sell Your Writing: Pt 1

recently accepted a manuscript for our publishing company. The first thing the author wanted to know was how much our services like editing cost, if we used templates for the cover art, and is we were listed on Amazon.com.

I am here to tell you that REAL publishers (please forgive the Tom Wolfe) do not charge authors to produce their book.

I would also like to point out that REAL publishers have distribution through Ingrams. Please people, we are a tiny publishing company in Canada. If Ingrams would welcome us with open arms, then a publisher has to be real bad/unscrupulous/or not a real publisher at all but a printing company (vanity press, POD, Self-publishing company) posing as a publishing company.
