How to Write Blogs that Attract Advertisers

Most of the mistakes made by new blogers lie in the fact that they write magazine or even essay style articles. If I want to know everything about affiliates, I'll buy the book.

I just want to know three things:

1. What can it do for me.
2. Is it hard
3. How can I do it.

Don't tell me that I can make XX money. Tell me How to make XX money.

The next thing you need to do is search keywords. Every topic has keyword phrases that curious minds use.

Here is a big mistake made by writers. They write articles called "how to write" "craft of writing" or other such titles and keywords when "help me write" and "Learn to write" are used almost twice as much.

You might have an article called "How to Write a Novel." However, "Help me write" and "fiction" are both more popular, so "Help Me Write a Fiction Novel" will draw more hits than "How to Write a Novel" - Yet - they are both the same article.

Second, use titles. This is important. Keywords in links and keywords in titles have more weight than those in text. Also, never use a keyword in your article posting site that is not used at least twice in your article.

Get Paid to Write
This is the most tricky one. How to get paid to write. You'll notice that Google pays more for some page views and clicks than it does for others. Watch your adsense account and learn which blogs make money. Then take a look at the ads in the articles. Then write about those topics. This will increase the number of ads (in theory) that draw higher clicks.

Manage Keywords and CPC
Not all keywords are good. Two keywords can rank the same, but one has a value of $2.00 at Google and one has no value. This is probably because no one is paying for the second keyword, so there is nothing to be sold.

If you use the keywords that have high CPC (cost per click) then you are more likely to get higher paying clicks from Google
