Weight Loss for Diabetics

There comes a time when weight loss is not an option. My husband was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He must change his diet, almost eliminate salt and sugar, and loose weight. All of these things are areas he has had trouble with all his life. Problem is, he doesn't eat much. In fact, he is a very conservative eater.

He is at the desperate stage. Diets don't work. He is disabled, so he cannot exercise. He is looking into alternative methods of weight loss, pills, weight loss surgery. JourneyLite's weight-loss surgery the LAP-BAND, among others.

He will probably go with something like Lap-band, because of the support and mentoring he will receive. He is nervous and doesn't want to 'go it alone.' The last thing he needs is more stress when he is already burdened with doctor's appointments, diet schedules, and losing the foods he loves.
