Another fast growing niche for work at home businesses is in environmental assessment and management. There are dozens of jobs available for people who want to consult on environmental issues. Especially now that the government suggested they will soon issue a carbon tax.
The UK has already started to apply a carbon tax. This means that people with out of date, low efficiency furnaces, and energy glutton air conditioners.
The hardest hit will be small businesses as Phase I of the low emission programs come into effect within the next five years. It seems absurd that we must live with and clean up the mess our parents made - but they were the ones who reaped the benefits - yet we will profit from the clean up.
