One of my pet peeves is auto insurance. It seems that, no matter how much I buy, what companies I go with, I always have something happen to me that isn't covered. First, we had the car stolen but the insurance company wouldn't cover the 'business' items in the vehicle. Second, the van was vandalized at the office parking lot, and the home owner insurance wouldn't insure it because it was on commercial property- and (get this) the commercial policy wouldn't cover it because I wasn't in commercial space that was leased privately by the company.
I've started to use online auto insurance quoting services. I choose my policy by 'what I get' not price. After I get all the features I need - then I start checking prices.
