The Downtown is not big, but it is trendy with diversity of restaurants, retailers, and big city nightlife. Lake Eola offers festivals, outdoor concerts, and gondola rides on the Lake. To complete the area are world class golf courses, a sports complex, theater, and opera.

The focus on family living in the city gave birth to Baldwin Park, a traditional neighborhood with architecture reminiscent of the pre-1940's era in Central Florida.
