Paintball for Boy's 16th Birthday Party

My son turns sixteen in three weeks. I have learned a lot in the last year. I know what a 'lay up' and a 'swish' are. My son learned how to ride a dirt bike, and get 90 on a project. And, he got the entire family hooked on video games.

Planning a party is easy: pizza, pop, chips, video games. But - an activity is the hard part.

This assignment came across my desk, and I thought it would be the perfect idea for a 16th birthday activity for an athletic boy.

The History of Paintball

Paintball guns were originally used to put identifying marks trees and cattle. The early paintball buns were powered by C02 cartridges and worked poorly. The paintball guns needed to be redesigned when people started using the guns for sport. Their velocity was reduced and accuracy improved. Splatmaster was patented in 1985. Today's painball guns are designed for accuracy, speed, air efficiency, reduced weight and size. Some prominent names are Smartparts, Kingman Spyder, and Tippmann.

The sport of paintball has gone from a free for all to a tournament-style game, expanding the need for privately owned paintball equipment. Zephyrpaintball.com was founded in 2004. They meet the market demand for everything from cheap paintball supplies to tournament quality amour and guns at the lowest or matched prices, customer service for new gamers, and fast shipping.

How did your son like paintballing for his birthday? The first time I ever played was during a friend's birthday party when he turned 10. I've been hooked ever since. If you're ever in the market for cheap paintball guns then be sure to check out Custom Paintball Solutions.
