Freelance Writing Gets Easier

One word of wisdom that I can pass on to new writers is that 'freelance writing gets easier.' Many freelance writers will not work for lower paid jobs because they don't pay. The writer doesn't realize that it is their 'lack of skills' and not the low pay, that makes the writing job unappealing.

It does get easier. I have had many jobs that I wanted to quit. They were hard, and they took too much time. One such job involved writing 5 blogs a day. At first, it took me two hours to write the blogs - I didn't make much money.

Less than two months later, I am writing those same blogs in one hour (and a few minutes) and making great money. It is all in your goals.

Also, reduce the time spent researching. Pick a niche or two, or three, and focus on them. This means that you do not need to research the topic before writing.

Life will get easier. No matter how hard things are right now - they will be better in a few weeks. You will learn how to find jobs. You will learn how to bid. You will learn how to write faster, organize your skills, and develop the other skills a freelance writer needs.

It may take longer if you are working a full time job as well as writing - but you will win.

There is only one rule that seems to permeate the writing world. Write Every Day If you have nothing to write, then do writing exercises - even if it is only 10 or 15 minutes. Forcing yourself to write everyday takes discipline and determination. It will forge strong writing skills and turn any one's dream of seeing their name in print a reality.
