I have spent a lot of time telling people that writing for free can lead to a sales article. Well, I have won a lot of bids on sites like ifreelance.com and guru.com through articles that I wrote for free, but here is an article that paid me $20.00 for about 30 - 45 minutes work. I was asked to write this article after the webmaster saw a comment I made in a forum on writing.
Also, I posted one article about 1 year ago, and it has generated almost 50 links to my website. I posted it in ezinearticle.com which is now a free service. Each of these articles has a link on the bottom that helps sell my ebooks - so in fact, these articles generate a lot of wealth. Read more on getting paid, or another opinion on writing for free.
