I was writing an article today about things that were once a luxury that is now an considered a necessity. The larger items are easy to see, laptops, microwaves, televisions, and MP3 players. The smaller items are easier to overlook. These include shower curtains, gardening equipment, a potato peeler, and Makeup Mirrors.
It is amazing how our culture changes. If you ask someone what they need, they will rarely include food, heat, health, or family on their list. It is easy to say that we don't really need these items. However, if you have ever seen anyone who isn't using a Makeup Mirror to put on their cosmetics - you'll realize that it is something that people really do need.
