My husband was just diagnosed as a diabetic. He is not fat. He is not predisposed to the disease. My husband did not need to be diabetic. Today's junk food caused the disease. It is sad to think that his fate is suffered by thousands of children.
My husband must eat less than 1/2 a teaspoon of salt a day. He must watch the sugar he eats. Two apples is too much sugar. He cannot eat most preprocessed foods. Not even healthy foods or diet foods fit in his diet. It is important that children and adults remain fit and healthy. It is important that they keep their weight down.
There are drugs that can help a person drop weight, like hydroxycut. There are many services that will help a person stop over eating. But, most important, do not eat junk food.
