Ecommerce Solutions for Work at Home

The topic of shopping carts comes up continually. Which is the best, which will earn money, which is reliable. There are so many shopping carts out there that many new work at home Internet business owners are at a loss.

Free Shopping Carts

These are never a good deal. They lack the security and features to help the business owner make money. There are hundreds of thousands of shopping carts that make no money. This isn't because people do not shop online, in fact, online shopping generates trillions of dollars in sales - just over the Christmas season.

However, today's Internet user is afraid of fraud and phishing. Cheap ecommerce software is unsecured looking, and lacks features needed to expedite shopping. This results in high numbers of abandoned purchases.

Paid Shopping Carts

There are several. A good shopping cart should include an affiliate program, life chat, and more than 200 products available. It should also be available for under $100 a month. There are a few good ecommerce software that meet this criteria. The most important thing is to find something that is 'user' friendly.

Secondary Hosted Shopping Carts

These include drop ship and eBay. While they may seem good, remember that the host company is only giving users space so the main site can make sales. These are also expensive, and rarely match the benefits and features of paid shopping carts.
