Secret of Success - Never Stop Learning

When I teach a workshop I always impress on the audience to 'never stop learning.' Most freelance writers, work at home business owners, and especially WHAMS have a high failure rate - unfortunately.

The problem is that 'you don't know what will kill you until it has killed you.' To put this in layman's terms, writers do not understand why they are loosing bids, clients, and money - that is because they didn't continue their learning.

A few weeks ago I started blogging about my other ventures in this blog. I thought it would help new writers understand that they will not be limited to writing for $.01 a word - forever. Many of my writing colleagues have moved on to become agents, coaches, or make good money as writers.

When I read books on business management, I see this same theme 'never stop learning' in every book. When I read blogs like Sharon Hurley Hall's Blog - Get Paid to Write Online, and I still take courses.

What I learned last week - is not to confuse people by mixing messages. I should keep my freelance writing and publishing imagesseparate. I understood that I degenerated my blog's SEO capability, but I also need to consider my readers.

UPDATE Look at the cool tool I found at Myspace. I've overlooked it for years, ya-another slide show..but this one actually works.
