I learned quite a bit about home decorating, and increasing the value of a home. For one thing, if you want to increase the value of your home - don't do the bathroom. And, don't waste money on the kitchen. Both of these will help a bit, but most new homeowner will rip these rooms out and redecorate them.
But, there are things that will help sell a home. A patio heater is one. A jacuzzi will help sell a house. Also, putting wine coolers in the kitchen, or den, are improvements that will help sell the home - and not be torn out when the house sells.
