If you are like most freelance writers or work at home professionals then you hit ebay or the Internet to do most of your Christmas shopping. Men are the hardest to buy for. The only sure thing is electronics.
I hate buying electronics from Amazon or Ebay. I would rather go to a niche site. I need a fish finder as a gift. This type of product is tricky. If I go to the affiliate sites, then I am bumped from website to website to shopping cart...and the information on the website is useless. I can go to a site like Northeast Marine Electronics.
This makes it easier for me to buy something they can use. That is what I hate about electronics. Without good information, I always buy the wrong thing. I always learn too late that there are different kinds of – Fishfinders – for different situations, weather, or fish.
I miss having a sales person to do all my thinking for me, but I just don’t have the time to hit 10 sporting goods stores until I find the right brand.
